JOS, Nigeria (AP) — Gunmen set fire to a home in a Christian village near a central Nigeria city violently divided by faith and shot those who ran outside to flee the flames, killing at least seven people and wounding one other, authorities said Thursday.

The attack represents the latest killings spiraling out of unrest between Christians and Muslims living around the city of Jos, an area that has seen thousands killed in the last decade in fighting. That violence continues to go further and further out into rural villages, a potential sign that killings could again rage out of control.

The killings that took place late Wednesday night happened in the village of Tahoss, said Mark Lipdo, who runs a Christian advocacy group known as the Stefanos Foundation. The gunmen, suspected to be from the Muslim Fulani herdsmen who roam the pasturelands of the plateau, targeted one specific family in their attack, Lipdo said.

Local police spokesman Samuel Dabai said he visited Tahoss and saw the corpses. Dabai said police had begun an investigation into the attack.

NINE MUSLIM men (Pakis & Afghanis) found guilty of sex trafficking of young white girls

The bBC, when it aired this story today, used the all encompassing term of “Asian” to describe the men, yet the fact remains – 8 were Pakistani and the other was from Afghanistan.

What really is most disturbing about this story is how in 2008, one of the victims reported that she was being abused by the gang, DNA evidence was found and after a year’s investigation, the Crown prosecution service decided not to prosecute because they didn’t think they would win in a court of law.

Subsequently, the victim was abused for another 2 years by these odious creatures until the police reopened the case. Now I wonder why the CPS didn’t want to prosecute in 2008? Could it be that all this banding about of racism, Islamophobia and how only Muslims can be victims has polarised the British legal system into looking the other way when it comes to the peccadilloes of the Islamic male?

But since the school rejected that move now the next step is to “terrorize the Kuffar (unbelievers)” who in this case is the school and the young ladies who attend it until they comply with the demands put upon them.

A proposal from the Obama administration to prevent children from doing farm chores has drawn plenty of criticism from rural-district members of Congress. But now it’s attracting barbs from farm kids themselves.

The Department of Labor is poised to put the finishing touches on a rule that would apply child-labor laws to children working on family farms, prohibiting them from performing a list of jobs on their own families’ land.

Under the rules, children under 18 could no longer work “in the storing, marketing and transporting of farm product raw materials.”

“Prohibited places of employment,” a Department press release read, “would include country grain elevators, grain bins, silos, feed lots, stockyards, livestock exchanges and livestock auctions.”

The new regulations, first proposed August 31 by Labor Secretary Hilda Solis, would also revoke the government’s approval of safety training and certification taught by independent groups like 4-H and FFA, replacing them instead with a 90-hour federal government training course.
