religion of peace roundup

Nothing has changed since the time of Mo.

There is no such thing as ‘moderation’ in Islam. Even the Ahmadis, which are considered as moderate (as one could get within Islam), are deemed to be outside Islamic norms. Repent or die is the only path available to them.

Pakistan bus attack leaves 18 dead

(Kohistan) Yet again, in direct contradiction of its so called status as the religion of peace, fine, outstanding members of Islam boarded a bus in darkest Pakistan, removed those passengers who belonged to the branch of Islam they don’t. Escorting them off the bus they then in cold blood shot dead 18 Shia Muslims.Isn’t it strange how while the Islamic world can go ballistic over so called holy books found ready for burning (not burnt, but ready for burning), yet the actual murders of real people don’t even register on the conciousness of the world’s Muslims?Yet the very same people, who are remaining silent on these murders, are the same ones who demand inquiry after inquiry if a Muslim was refused entry onto a bus in the West. Even when the Muslims are in the wrong. Funny that.

Sharia Alert: BBC Director Mark Thompson Admits That Network Treats Islam with More Sensitivity Than Christianity

Say what you want about Islam, but one remarkable feature of its adherents is their ability to get us Westerners to submit to aspects of Sharia without knowing we are submitting to Sharia.

For instance, under Sharia, Islam has a special status and must not be criticized, while Muslims are free to criticize other religions.

In the West, we believe that all positions are open to criticism. You might expect, then, that Western news agencies would insist on fair and unbiased reporting.

Not so, says BBC Director-General Mark Thompson. Islam is different from Christianity, because Muslims take it so seriously, are extremely sensitive about Muhammad, are a minority, and may become violent if provoked. Hence, the BBC gives Islam special treatment over Christianity, and they justify their position with careful explanations, not realizing that the result happens to line up perfectly with Sharia.

DAILY MAIL–BBC director-general Mark Thompson has claimed Christianity is treated with far less sensitivity than other religions because it is ‘pretty broad shouldered’.

He suggested other faiths have a ‘very close identity with ethnic minorities’, and were therefore covered in a far more careful way by broadcasters.

But he also revealed that producers had to consider the possibilities of ‘violent threats’ instead of polite complaints if they pushed ahead with certain types of satire.

Mr Thompson said: ‘Without question, “I complain in the strongest possible terms”, is different from, “I complain in the strongest possible terms and I am loading my AK47 as I write”. This definitely raises the stakes.’

Exclusive Interview: Infidel Victim of Pennsylvania Sharia Judge Reveals Inside Details of Case

By Pamela Geller
This is why anti-sharia legislation is so essential.  What happened to equal protection under the law?

Back in October, I reported on Ernest Perce, a parade-goer wearing a “Zombie Muhammad” costume while marching in a local Pennsylvania Halloween parade.  He was viciously attacked and choked by Talaag Elbayomy, a Muslim (who was enforcing the sharia — he assumed that it was illegal in this country to insult Muhammad).  “He grabbed me, choked me from the back, and spun me around to try to get my sign off that was wrapped around my neck,” reported Perce.

Last week, an American judge in Pennsylvania, Judge Mark Martin, ruled on the case and sided with the Muslim, and said that the victim would have been put to death in Muslim societies for his “crime.”

Martin told Perce: “Having had the benefit of having spent over two and a half years in predominantly Muslim countries I think I know a little bit about the faith of Islam. … In many Arabic-speaking countries something like this is definitely against the law there. In their society in fact it can be punishable by death and it frequently is in their society.”

So what?  This is America, where we don’t have to obey the Islamic blasphemy laws — at least not yet.  But Martin went on to reveal why he was ruling against the victim: “Then what you have done is you have completely trashed their essence, their being. They find it very very very offensive. I’m a Muslim, I find it offensive.”  He now denies that he is a Muslim, but that’s what he said.

Ultimately, it is irrelevant if the judge is or isn’t a Muslim.  What is germane is his sharia ruling, which is worse if he’s not a Muslim.  In Islam, sharia supersedes all man-made laws.  It is the law of Allah, so one might understand (though not condone) a Muslim judge defaulting to sharia.  But an American judge admonishing an infidel victim while holding up the Koran is shocking.  You hear the Koran slam down in the audio of the court proceeding.  Martin also told Perce: “You’re way outside your boundaries or First Amendment rights.”

Perce had video of the attack, but Judge Martin refused to allow the video into evidence. The judge refused even to look at the video, saying that he had heard enough and that there were two conflicting stories. In sharia, in any conflict between a Muslim and a non-Muslim, the Muslim is always right.  Martin ruled for Elbayomy.
